Files transferred in the chat are always upload on the server. This technology appeared in MyChat  6.2. 


There are a lot of advantages except the limitation — a hard drive on the server. By default, the file size is not limited. But if you have users who can send large files frequently, or you disable the system for clearing old files, then you should choose this limitation.


If you set the limitation for 256 megabytes, then uploading the file bigger then this value causes the error #255.
