A computer with two network interfaces; an external one (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX, conditionally), and the second one is internal 192.168.1.1. Kerio Control is set on this computer. MyChat Server works in internal network on another computer. Its address is 192.168.1.3.

Users will connect to external IP address over the Internet. To make this happen you need to specify an external IP address or domain name.

It's enough to configure a rule for incoming traffic in Kerio Control. It will transfer users from external interface XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX to internal one 192.168.1.3 via specified ports. By default, these are TCP 2004 and TCP 80.

This technology is called port mapping or port forwarding.
