Port test: "external IP address / host name"

Usually MyChat Server is located inside the local network behind NAT. Although, of course, there are cases that it works on a computer that has a network interface with an external "white" IP address, but this is usually a rare case.

To connect to it via the Internet, you need to know the "white" IP address or the domain name associated with this address (it is needed to obtain an HTTPS certificate, but you can do without it if you do not plan to use MyChat applications for Android/iOS phones).

This address is given by your provider and is "attached" to the router that distributes the internet in the office or at home. Usually this is a paid and inexpensive service.

For everything to work correctly, you must register this address (or the domain name) in MyChat Server network settings. After this, you should start connecting clients to your server via the Internet.
